GetCoaching, Inc. (“GetCoaching”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects the privacy of its users and has developed this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to demonstrate its commitment to protecting your privacy. This Policy describes the information we collect when you use the GetCoaching Platform (the “Platform”), how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices about such uses and disclosures. “You” refers to you as a user or viewer of the Platform. We encourage you to read this Policy carefully when using our website. By using the Platform, you are accepting the practices described in this Policy.
Background
GetCoaching provides an online Platform that connects coaches and instructors (“Service Providers”) with individuals that want to purchase and/or receive training services in a sport or physical activity (“Clients”).
Collection of Information
When you access or use our Platform, we collect Personal Information (such as your name and email address) that you have voluntarily disclosed to us, and Non-Personal Information (such as web browsing information) that is automatically collected when you interact with the Platform. This information is used for Platform and system administration purposes, to increase our Platform's functionality and user-friendliness, and to better tailor our Platform to our visitors' needs.

- Contact information, such as name, email address, mailing address, and phone number;
- Unique identifiers, such as user name and password;
- Demographics information, such as your gender, age, location and device related information;
- Professional information (from Coaches), such as qualifications, certification, program training, training preferences, post-secondary education, background screening, and any other information you choose to provide;
- Training Information, such as the sports and positions you play or coach, time and duration of training, training location, and any other information you choose to provide;
- User content generated by you, such as audio, video, text, and images provided by you on the Platform, which may contain personal information as provided by you;
- Transaction information, including the training services offered (by Service Providers), requested or purchased (by Clients), date, time and location where the service was provided, amount charged (by Service Providers), and other related transaction details; the Platform facilitates communications between Service Providers and Clients and in connection with facilitating these communications, we may receive call or SMS message data, including the date and time of the call or SMS message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of the SMS message; we use this information solely for the purpose of facilitating such communications;
- Personal payment information, should you decide to provide such information to us for use with our Platform; and
- Any other information you voluntarily enter, such as photos, images, biography, reviews, testimonials, and content you provide us.
We may combine information received from you when using the Platform with information from external sources. For example, if you create an account using, or otherwise connect your account to, a social networking services account (e.g. Twitter, Facebook or Google), we may also collect information provided to us by the social networking service, such as your name, email address, birthday, geographic location, interests, profile picture, networks, list of friends, likes, comments, and any information you have made public and made accessible to us on such social networking account.
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information you submit to GetCoaching. Inaccurate information will affect your experience when using the Platform, and our ability to contact you as described in this Policy. If you choose not to provide the requested information, you may not be able to use some or all of the features of the Platform.
- Information we automatically collect
- Log Data information, such as your browser type (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Edge) you are using, the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer, the IP address of your Internet Service Provider, the website you were visiting before coming to our Platform, Platform access times and dates, Platform pages you view, the time spent on those pages, and the content you search for and download from the Platform;
- Device information, such as your device type, model and manufacturer, your device operating system and version, language and identifying information, unique device identifiers, geo-location information, and mobile network information;
- Cookies: we use cookies (a small text file placed on your computer to identify your computer and browser); we may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our Platform; we may also use Web beacons (a file placed on a website that monitors usage); we use cookies and Web beacons to improve the experience of the Platform, such as pre-populating your email for easier login; you may choose to decline cookies if your browser permits, but doing so may affect your use of the Platform and your ability to access certain features of the Platform.
We also may collect and aggregate information or content about the use of our Platform in a way that does not directly identify you (“Usage Data”). Usage Data helps us understand trends in our users’ needs so that we can consider new features, or otherwise tailor or enhance our Platform.
We may establish business relationships with service providers, advertising partners, and other third parties to provide certain services, such as hosting and maintenance, payment processing, data storage and management, marketing and promotions, and customer research/analytics. These parties may collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our Platform. This Policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for those other parties. These parties may use cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to provide us with information about how you use and interact with our Platform. We do not share your personal Information with these parties for their direct marketing purposes unless you provide us with consent to do so. We encourage you to review their privacy policies to learn about your choices about information these types of services collect from you.

Use of Information
We may use information that we collect about you for a variety of purposes, including without limitation for the purposes described further below:
- Fulfill your requests, and respond to your inquiries, questions, and comments;
- Facilitate the creation and administration of your account;
- Manage your account and provide you with customer support;
- Provide, maintain, and improve our Platform;
- Communicate with you about your use of the Platform, and provide related information, including confirmations, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages;
- Enable communications between Service Providers and Clients;
- Respond to customer service requests;
- Customize any advertising you view, and recommend content based on your interests;
- Send newsletters and promotional materials related to the Platform;
- Offer users the opportunity to participate in surveys and other special offers;
- Conduct research, data analysis and measurement activities;
- Carry out contests or promotions;
- Improve the content and functionality of the Platform, and better understand our users;
- Develop new services and products;
- Facilitate payment, using third party payment processing services, should you subscribe to a paid membership plan;
- Protect, investigate, and prevent potentially fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activities;
- Protect the rights of GetCoaching and other users; and
- Carry out any other purpose for which the information was collected.
We may also use your information to verify your geographic location. We may use your geographic location data to personalize our Platform, to recommend content, and/or to determine whether the information you have requested is available in your location.
Your Consent
We will collect, use, or disclose your personal information only with your knowledge and consent, except where required or permitted by Applicable Privacy Laws. When you choose to provide us with your personal information, you consent to the use of your personal information as identified in this Policy, and as may be further identified at the time of collection.
You may notify us at any time that you wish to withdraw or change your consent to our use and disclosure or your personal information. We will accommodate your request, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. The most common way of indicating this withdrawal of consent is (i) by changing your privacy preferences to the extent such functionality is made available through the Platform, or (ii) deleting your account with the Platform and stopping use of the Platform. In other situations, you may be able to opt out of the use of your personal information. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We do not share your personal information with others, except as indicated below. We will not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information as follows, or as otherwise described in this Policy:
- With your consent or at your direction;
- With others who perform services on our behalf; these services may include fulfilling requests, providing customer service, providing marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, ad tracking and analytics, member screenings, supporting our website functionality, and supporting other features offered through our site;
- When you create a profile, participate in the interactive areas of our Platform, or interact with us on social networking services, as certain information you provide may be displayed publicly, such as your profile name, biography, and photo, and other information you choose to provide;
- With our business partners, advertisers, and other third parties, sharing aggregated and anonymized data;
- In accordance with, or required by law, or to comply with a court order, judicial or other government subpoena, or warrant;
- If appropriate or necessary to prevent any liability, or fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GetCoaching or others;
- In connection with, or during negotiations of any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy or insolvency.
The GetCoaching Platform may also provide you with the option to share certain information from your GetCoaching account with social networking services like Facebook, Google, and Twitter. We are not responsible for the use or re-sharing by others of any of your information once it is made public. If you do not want your information to be made public, you should not use the Platform in this manner and/or you should adjust your privacy settings on the applicable social networking service accordingly. We are not responsible for, and do not control these social networking services’ privacy practices. Please review the applicable privacy policy for information about how they use your information.
Third Party Links
Our Platform may contain links to other websites. We have no responsibility or liability for, or control over, such websites, or their collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. You should always read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of a third party website before using it, whether directly or in connection with your use of the Platform.
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. We maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in an effort to protect the confidentiality and security of personal information in our custody and control. However, no data transmission over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect information transmitted on or through the Platform, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information you transmit on or through the Platform, and you do so at your own risk. To help protect yourself and your information, choose a unique password for our Platform and do not use a password that you would use on any other website or online service.
Minors
We will not knowingly collect information from users under the age of 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a user under the age of 13, we will delete such information.
Information Choices
Access to and Corrections of Your Information
You may review, correct, or update your personal Information at any time by logging into your GetCoaching account. Users who wish to cancel their account may do so on the Account Settings page. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available. Applicable privacy laws may also give you the right to access, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal information that is in our custody or control. The profile that Service Providers create on our Platform will be publicly accessible, unless otherwise indicated. We will list Service Providers in our publicly accessible Service Providers directory. You may ask us to remove your profile from the directory by emailing us at privacy@getcoaching.ca, or by canceling your account on the Account Settings page.
Promotional Communications
If you have consented to receiving promotional and other commercial electronic messages from GetCoaching, you also consent to GetCoaching’s use of your personal information to send you such messages. You may opt out of receiving such messages from GetCoaching by following the instructions in those messages. If you opt out, we may still send you non-commercial electronic messages, such as messages about your account or our ongoing business relations.
Cookies
Most Web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies from GetCoaching or from third parties. If you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect certain features of the Platform and the Platform may not function.
Push Notifications
With your consent, we may send promotional and non-promotional push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device.
Changes and Updates to this Privacy Policy
From time to time, we may change this Privacy Policy. If we change this Policy, we will give you notice by posting the revised Policy on the Platform. Those changes will go into effect on the effective date shown at the top of this Policy. By continuing to use the Website, you consent to the revised Policy. If we make any material changes to this Policy, we will notify you here, by email (to the email address specified in your account), or by posting a prominent announcement on the Platform prior to the change becoming effective. Please check the Platform frequently for any changes to this Policy.
